All car rental companies in Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport have temporarily closed their rental counters and Terminal 1 shuttle bus services. All car rentals are now being managed at the car rental counters in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport. Terminal 1 is a 5 minute walk from Terminal 2. In Terminal 2 please follow the signs for 'Car Hire’ where the Europcar team will be waiting to help you. If you need additional assistance on arrival, please call +353 1 8122800.

Deposit and Credit Card Information:-
A deposit amount will be held on the main driver’s credit card for the duration of the rental. The deposit will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period. In case of theft or damage to the rental vehicle, you will be liable for up to the excess amount and the standard vehicle insurance policy will cover the rest. Groups Mini, Economy and Compact have a deposit of 1500 EUR. Groups Compact and Economy Automatic, Estates and Intermediate have a deposit of 1800 EUR. Groups SUVs and Full Size have a deposit of 2000 EUR. Premium, People Carriers and Mini Buses have a deposit of 2500 EUR. If you have purchased insurance from a third party a deposit will still be required by Keddy. The main driver must have one of the following valid credit cards under his name: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners or Discover Cards. PIN number will be required. No other form of payment will be accepted. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

• One-way has been added to the price quoted online and payable at the counter, only applicable for One Way Rentals.
Mandatory documents & important information:
The following documents are required to collect the vehicle:
• A printed version of your Rental Voucher.
• Passport/ID card.
• A valid credit card in the name of the main driver.
• A valid (with no major endorsements) driving licence. Canadian, Australian and all EU member states are not required to supply an International Driving Licence however all other countries not specified will require an international driving Licence along with their domestic license. Non EU driving Licences cannot be accepted if the holder has been resident in Ireland for more than 12 months.
• Please note UK customers must include the printed endorsement record or the code obtained from DVLA website: www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence) for all named drivers, with details of all endorsements. In the event a UK licence holder does not present the paper counterpart then a charge will be made to call the DVLA Driving Licence enquiries line.
• Either 2 utility bills dated within the last 3 months confirming their home address (as per their driving licence) or return flight confirmation details.
Age Restrictions and Driving Licence: Drivers must be 26 years old and have held their license for at least 2 years.
Drivers must be 29 years of age to rent Intermediate SUV, Full size, Premium, People carriers and Mini buses.
Renters who are 74 years old and older will need to contact the rental desk about further rental restrictions.
